[edit] Who Am I?

I co-founded SLS along with Yair in May 2005. Born and raised outside of Detroit, MI, I moved to Baltimore in September 2001 to attend Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate. I completed a concurrent BS/MSE program in computer science in 4.5 years.

Prior to starting SLS, I really got my feet wet with Microsoft.Net. I lived and learned through versions 1.1 and 2.0 before jumping ship. I started learning Ruby and Ruby on Rails in December 2006 and never looked back. Nowadays, I'm constantly on the lookout for the newest platform/technology. I genuinely love analyzing the landscape and utilizing just the right pieces of technology for a given solution.

These days, I find myself doing less and less application programming. We've got an excellent team who can do that! I do a lot of behind the scenes work, establishing procedures and internal productivity software for our team. I manage the majority of our production and staging servers.

On the business side, I'm constantly selling our services. I love to network locally (Baltimore/DC is bursting at the seams with talented and ambitious people). Most recently, I've found myself very engaged with social media.
